Sarah Swash and her boyfriend Toshio Yamanaka, both from Central Saint Marten’s College of Art and Design, teamed up to create a line or whimsical, romantic, print-heavy pieces, including a line of scarves. Inspired by Maria Sibylla Merian, a seventeenth – century botanical illustrator, and the surroundings of their East London studio, their ability to create beautiful pieces, comes very naturally. Their scarves are perfect for women of any age.
